Today we gathered at the New Steine in Brighton to recognise World AIDS Day, and to read names of some of the people who have lost their lives. It is 31 years since my friend Paul Tay died of AIDS, and after whom the Memorial is named. December 1st is always an emotional day for me, it is impossible not to shed tears.
