ROMANY MARK BRUCE

is an artist born in Ireland and living in Brighton, England.

His paintings and sculptures have won critical acclaim and his work is collected worldwide. He has an inexplicable and passionate obsession with the Sternocleidomastioid a paired muscle in the superficial layers of the side of the neck.  This is reflected in much of his work, both figurative and abstract.

He is the designer and creator of the Brighton AIDS Memorial unveiled by Mr David Furnish on the 9th October 2009, a bronze sculpture which has become an iconic landmark on the map of Brighton
